Skrew Tail on an English Bulldog...?
I have an English, and she has a very deep screw tail. no matter what I do to keep it clean and dry, she still get irritated inside. I have heard that you can have the tail removed, but that seems harsh. Any suggestions?
No Marissa, they are born with their tails like that. There is no docking done
Thanks Natasha, I do use a yeast infection medication on her and it does help, but I know she is not comfortable.
I had this problem with my bully. Your vet should have some wipes that you can buy that "dry out" that area, my vet had me use them on my bully under tail, inside ears and under all her rolls and she hasn't had problems since. I can't remember the name of the wipes but your vet should be able to tell you.
BTW it's a yeast build up under her tail I believe that what the vet said it was (its been 4 years ago for me!)
