I've heard nothing but good things about the Pflueger President reels, and they make a Saltwater "XT" President reel. The 6760-size is almost the same size as the XPRO-6500 reel you mentioned. The President XT will last a long time if taken care of properly.
I've also heard nothing but good things about the Daiwa Emcast reel, I know someone that snags spoonbill with them and has never had a problem with one. Snagging spoonbill is a TOUGH job. The ECS500 is the same size as that reel you mentioned as well.
So I'd recommend either the Pflueger President Saltwater XT or the Daiwa Emcast.
Either of these would match perfectly to a 7' M Shakespeare Big Water Ugly Stik.
