I'm going fishing in an hour or so.?
I've been reading the fishing reports for the area, and no one has had any luck lately with the normal steelhead tackle, mainly maribou jigs. I've got a jig tied on already, but if that doesn't work I've got an inline spinner, and a small wooden jerkbait, both imitate smelt, a baitfish VERY common in lake Erie. If anyone else has any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated.
PS. The jig I've got tied on is green, and I'm bringing a white one. And I'm moving soon, and trying to save as much money as possible, so I'm not going to be buying Live Bait until at least spring.

Take cheese with you. Make a ball out of the cheese and apply it to your hook.
