How can the price of SILVER be MANIPULATED ?
I've noticed the Dollar taking a "beating", and rightly so, but the price of Silver just holds steady or even drops a bit.
It's as if there is an invisible powerful intervention that does not allow the "economic model" of Supply and Demand run as it should.

"edgetrader": While silver is used for Industrial purposes it is also "Poor Man's Gold". I'm wondering why it's not performing as well as Gold is. Is someone dumping Silver on the market or has demand for it declined?

You are a bit unclear in what you mean by silver
being manipulated.
Bear in mind that silver is an industrial metal, and
demand for it is going to be affected by the current
economic environment, as opposed to gold, which
has historically been considered a store of value.
It is for this reason that the price of silver has not
done as well as the price of gold.
